Purchase a Dog License in Person

To purchase an annual Philadelphia dog license, your dog must have a current rabies vaccine. Proof of vaccination is requested but not required at time of purchase. If you are applying for a discounted license, proof of spay/neuter (for an altered license), and proof of dog owner's age (for a senior license) are required at time of purchase.

Licenses can be purchased in person at ACCT Philly or from many other license retailers throughout the city. Licensing hours at ACCT Philly are 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm on weekends, and 10am to 6pm holidays. Please bring all required documents with you when purchasing a license.

Annual License Fees

• Altered dogs: $16
• Unaltered dogs: $40
• Senior pet owners (65 years and older): 50% discount
• Service dogs: Free
