To purchase an annual Philadelphia dog license, your dog must have a current rabies vaccine. Proof of vaccination is requested but not required at time of purchase. Your veterinarian can provide you with a vaccine certificate verifying your dog's shots are up-to-date.
Philadelphia residents who are 65 years or older are eligible for a reduced-fee annual city license of $20. Proof of dog owner's age is required at time of purchase.
